Hi. My name is Shad Tidler. I've been at Lushin for nine years, helping companies and their salespeople exceed their sales revenue and company goals. When I'm not working, I love to travel to new places.

To reach my destination, I need to have a clear picture of where I want to travel, what I want to get out of the trip, and why in order to get the most from my experience. The next step is to have a plan with checkpoints along the way to ensure all is set up. I'll usually look to travel guidebooks, travel websites, and the guidance of people I know who have been there before to help me plan and prepare for the journey. It's similar to goals in business.

You can have a goal in mind, but you must go through the necessary planning steps and get guidance from resources or someone who's done it before to make it a reality. Just thinking about it or wishing for it doesn't make it happen. Unplanned challenges and detours will always come up on the journey. Eventually, we need to take a leap of faith and trust that all will work out okay for us.

I've found that these leaps of faith have often turned out to be my greatest experiences with traveling, life, and business. Along the way, one of the most beneficial things I do is to take time to look around me at all that's happening, just be in the moment, and reflect on the great experiences of this trip I'm on.

It's not always the destination but the journey along the way that the greatest experiences and accomplishments come from in life.

What's your approach to the travels and journeys of life and business?
