Hi, my name is Tiffany Thompson. I'm the president of DaMar Staffing Solutions of Indianapolis. We are a local based recruitment firm. We specialize in identifying top talent in the areas of administrative- and professional-level staffing. So simply, we connect great people with great companies.
Before we started working with Lushin, no staffing consultant could take a client or a candidate through the sales process. We didn't know the questions to ask, we didn't know how to respond to objections, we didn't know how to set up an upfront contract. Basically, we were just putting calls out and hoping that hey, someone would say yes.
It was very transactional. So we could never dictate our sales from year to year. We just always pretty much prayed that the client would come back and the employee would come back.
My first interaction with Lushin was that I was Googling resources.
I connected with Lushin about five years ago. I knew that I wanted to have scripts in place, I wanted to have a sales process, and I wanted to equip again my team with what they needed to be successful. So that is when I made the decision to pick up the phone and call Lushin.
I remember in the first interaction, she had a lot of questions. And very inquisitive, and really wanted to know a lot about how we operated, what we did et cetera, but I could tell there was a lot of skepticism. I had to drill pretty deeply and work pretty hard to figure out what was most important to her and what was she wanting to achieve and really start to see, okay, how could we help her best?
Once he changed my thought process of, Hey, Tiffany, you're a small business. There's no one else in your office at this time that is going to be a part of training your team. So you're going to have to figure out how you can get up to speed and really start working with your team. That really has allowed us to shift our culture to a culture where people have confidence and they believe in the DaMar brand.
If we didn't have that solid sales process in place, if I didn't have a coach here that I can just reach out to, I really don't believe that we would have maintained sales as well as we have. Lushin is more than just a sales training company. It's an opportunity for you to come in and network, and that really helps for you to accelerate your growth and experience with this organization. If Shad comes to me and says that I need to do something and it's going to move my organization forward, then I'm going to do it.
